I was really hoping to find some low light pictures, especially concert pictures. That is where the point and shoot cameras always fail.

  We share lots of pictures taken by camera owners on our Facebook and Twitter pages to show off a range of shots. We’ve recently shared this picture of Jay-Z in concert http://pictures.lytro.com/damon.webster/pictures/47034 and this panel presentation at SXSW that was taken in a giant hotel ballroom from about 40 rows back http://pictures.lytro.com/LytroSXSW/pictures/50734. Often, it is difficult to discern which examples are low-light pictures if you weren’t present when the picture was taken.

The last photo really makes me want to set a range of focus points for a custom depth of field. Really hoping they add that feature.

I have been reading a lot about the Lytro recently but was concerned by what I read at http://www.talktechnews.co.uk/2012/03/04/inside-the-lytro/ It said that you can’t transfer your photographs to Photoshop! Is this true?

  While it’s true you can’t export your very own living picture to Photoshop, you can still export your pictures from the Lytro Camera to a JPG and then edit them in Photoshop. Here’s the how to link. If you have any more questions, let us know.
