    Hello , I am realy faszinated about the posibilities of your Camera and the Litefieldimages :-)
    I have a question to you.
    Is it possible to extract a depthmap from these images,
    or write firmvare build in your camera, to get depthmaps directly.
    That would be a great feature for many 3D-artist, Composers, mate painters, 3D-Sculpers and a lot of other professional users in this business.

      When we have specific dates in 2012 when Windows desktop software will be available and which countries outside the U.S. we’ll be shipping to, we will share them. You can sign up to be notified.

    What about printing. Once you have your image focused the way you want, can you print it?

      If you want to freeze your living pictures, you can save them as jpg for printing. More on our Support site.

    Is there a facility for depth of field adjustment, and if not, how does one get around this?

      Both the photographer and the people they share pictures with can click on the picture to shift the objects that are in focus. “All in focus” is coming soon. Hope this helps answer your question.

      You can view your pictures, and interact with them, on your camera’s screen immediately after you shoot them, even before you upload them to your computer.

      Inge – No one, not even our own employees, owns a Lytro camera yet. The people who are shooting with Lytro cameras now are using beta cameras to help us test and improve the camera, as well as create pictures that we display in our Picture Gallery.

    How does it work in low light? How can you store the images? When will they become available for a pc user? What kind of life does the device have can I reuse over and over again or is it very limited? Finally what is the equivalent resolution as compared to a regular digital camera?
